3. These Terms

These terms and conditions are the terms on which we, WeJam, sell Experiences at our venues. These Terms apply to online bookings, corporate events and walk-in ticket purchases (Bookings) made by you via this website www.wejam.studio (our site) and in venues. Please note that we may accept same-day bookings in person at our venues; however this will be subject to availability and management discretion. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure you understand them before you make a Booking. By making a Booking you agree to be bound by these Terms and the other documents expressly referred to in them. We may amend these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on our site. Every time you make a Booking, the Terms in force at that time will apply to your Booking.

Please note that, if you are making the booking on behalf of others in your group, it is your responsibility to ensure that these additional players agree to these terms and are in receipt of all relevant information relating to the booking. WeJam shall not be responsible if members of your group are unable to participate in an Experience as a result of you failing to provide them with all the relevant information.

4. Making a Booking / Price and Payment

The price of your booking (including VAT) will be the price indicated on the booking and payment pages of our website at the time you place your booking. All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Once your payment has been processed, we will also send you an email receipt confirming how much you paid. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. To the extent that we do amend the price, the price paid for any booking prior to the price change will be unaffected and you will not be due a refund or required to pay any additional sums.

To the extent that you bring less participants to the Experience than booked, the price difference will not be refunded. Please note that there may be a minimum number of participants for any booking. Please check the website for more information.

In case you have brought more participants to the Experience than booked, the price difference can be settled upon arrival. Please note that there may be a maximum number of participants for any booking. Please check the website for more information.

We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. Payment must be at the time of booking, and we will not accept your booking unless it has been paid for in full.

Tickets you purchase are for personal use and cannot be exchanged, transferred or sold on for profit. Breach of this condition will entitle us to cancel the tickets without prior notification, refund, compensation or liability.

To prevent fraud and protect WeJam and you, we may carry out checks and/or you may be asked to provide additional information (such as a copy of a credit or debit card statement) after your booking so we can verify your purchase. If we suspect fraud we may cancel any order. Failure to supply these may result in the cancellation of your booking.

You must inform WeJam of any change of contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the booking confirmation. Our contact details are included in these Terms and Conditions. Our preferred method to contact you is email. You should take care to provide a current, valid email address and be aware that your email filter settings may treat our emails as spam or direct them to your junk folder.

5. Our Contact with You

These Terms apply to Bookings made by consumers only. Please contact us via the online form for corporate bookings as separate terms may apply.

Before making a Booking, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these Terms. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to proceed with your Booking. By making a Booking, you are making an offer at the price displayed on our site.

An order is not complete until accepted by us. We try to ensure all prices are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your Booking, we will inform you as soon as possible and we may either cancel the order (in which case you will be refunded the Booking amount you have paid) or we will give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price.

If we are unable to accept your Booking, for example because of limitations on our resources, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you.

6. Booking Confirmation

All Booking confirmations will be dispatched electronically.

Your booking confirmation must be shown on either a digital device or printed when arriving at the venue. Please ensure you have access to either of these on arrival as we will not admit customers without valid confirmation.

Always check your booking confirmation upon receipt and advise us promptly of any errors. Mistakes when ordering cannot always be corrected, and any corrections are discretionary. Refunds are not available.

If you do not receive your electronic confirmation within 48 hours of making your Booking, please contact us at customercare@wejam.studio

7. Cancellation Rights and Refunds

Bookings cannot be transferred or exchanged once purchased.

Alterations to your Booking

If you wish to change or cancel your Booking at any time after you have paid for your Experience (including to change the time or day or to add or remove participants), please contact us at customercare@wejam.studio as soon as possible. If you need to add extra participants and we have sold-out online, you may be able to purchase walk-in slots on the day. As a goodwill gesture, we may be able to accommodate your request to change your Booking, but this will be subject to the discretion of our customer service team and they require at least 72 hours’ notice to do so. We do not make any guarantees and we do not offer refunds. If we are able to change your Booking, we will contact you by email and let you know about any changes to the price of your booking, your chosen date or time, or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change, and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.

Our Rights to Cancel, Suspend or Amend your Booking

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or party, or ask any person or party to leave the venue at any time, due to misconduct or otherwise, at the discretion of our venue manager and/or security. You will not be entitled to a refund if you are refused entry or asked to leave. We may have to suspend or delay dispatch of your Booking confirmation to you to: (a) deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes; (b) make changes to your Booking as requested in accordance with the above; or (c) if your payment method has not been accepted.

In certain circumstances, we may need to cancel your Experience. If we do so we will use reasonable endeavours to contact you as soon as possible. You can reschedule your booking for another date within three (3) months of it being cancelled, or request a full refund.

8. Attending an Experience

Please note that our venues may contain flashing lights, UV lights and loud music! Animals are not permitted inside of our venues, apart from assistance dogs.

Please note that WeJam does not accept any liability for the loss or damage to any property you bring with you to the venue, however if something is damaged or lost at the fault of the venue we will investigate this on a case by case basis. CCTV cameras may operate at our venues to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff and to protect against crime. Prominent signs are displayed at our venues to alert you to this.

Admission to an Experience is always subject to any terms, conditions or rules of WeJam. If you breach those terms, conditions or rules then WeJam may refuse admission or require you or other ticket holders to leave the venue.

Amongst other things you will need to comply with health and safety rules and any security requirements. Please take the opportunity to read the displayed information at the relevant venue. WeJam has the rights to refuse admission or eject you in certain circumstances and these include (but not limited to), if you are involved with abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.

The WeJam Experience is strictly aged 8+ with a paying and playing adult. Customers aged under 18 that are not supervised by a paying and playing adult will not be allowed to play and no refund will be offered/given.

Latecomers may not be admitted, so please arrive 15 minutes before the time stated on your booking confirmation. Unfortunately failure to do so may result in you losing your time slot.

If you are running late please let us know as soon as possible and, as a goodwill gesture, we may be able to accommodate you. However, we cannot guarantee that we will hold your time slot or extend it. Please note that we do not offer refunds if you are late for your booking.

We kindly ask that you do not bring your own drinks or food to a WeJam venue / booking. Any alcohol brought in by you and found will be taken away.

You will be liable for any deliberate damage made to any equipment supplied at the venue and will need to pay for them in full within 24 hours. You may also incur a cleaning charge if any unnecessary mess is made at the relevant venue by you or your group.

Communications between us

If we have to contact you, we will do so by using the contact details you have provided to us via the method you chose to communicate with us in the first instance unless otherwise agreed. When we refer in these Terms to “in writing” or “written”, this will include email, live chat and social media responses. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the service of any proceedings or other documents in any legal action.

Our liability to you

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process. If you use the Tickets for any business or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. Events outside of our  control

In this clause an event outside our control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; civil commotion or riot; terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack; invasion, armed conflict, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, armed conflict or invasion; act of God, explosion, storm, flood, drought earthquake or other natural disaster; subsidence or collapse of buildings; accident; epidemic or pandemic; chemical or biological contamination; sonic boom; malicious damage; compliance with any applicable law or regulation; any law or action taken by a governmental or public authority; breakdown of plant or machinery; interruption or failure of public or private telecommunications networks, utility services or transport networks; and/or non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under our contract with you that is caused by an event outside our control. If an event outside our control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under our contract with you: (a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and (b) our obligations under our contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event outside our control. Where the event outside our control significantly delays your Booking (by longer than 60 minutes) or means we have to cancel your Booking, we will contact you to rebook or arrange a refund (at your option).

11. Other Important Terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. Neither of us will need to get the agreement of any other person in order to end the contract or make any changes to these terms.

Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the WeJam experience in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

12. Complaints

We aim to provide you with an enjoyable Experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your experience or the Booking process, please do let us know by emailing us at customercare@wejam.studio and we will try to rectify the problem.

We are under a legal duty to provide the Experience in conformity with this contract. Nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights.

Should we deliver the Experience in a way which is significantly different from that as advertised when you booked, or during your participation the Experience is subject to significant technical faults (such that you are prevented from being able to complete the Experience, or your Experience is significantly impaired), you may ask to participate the Experience again on a different date or request a refund.
